The Five Pillars of the MyoRelief Method

a comprehensive approach to help patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunction reduce pain, improve function, and restore balance throughout the body

Pillar 1

equips clinicians with techniques and exercises that help soothe the nervous system and interrupt persistent pain cycles.

Pillar 2

focuses on releasing tension and addressing fascial restrictions that limit movement.

Pillar 3

teaches how to rebuild muscle coordination for more efficient and balanced function.

Pillar 4

reinforces movement patterns through breathing and core stability training.

Pillar 5

brings all systems together to support lasting recovery and adaptability in daily life.

This course is built on the principles of myofunctional therapy. Pain in the jaw, face, and head often comes from muscle overuse, imbalance, and poor coordination rather than joint damage.

In this course, you will learn how to:

Identify muscle patterns that affect chewing, swallowing, breathing, and posture

Train patients to use these muscles in healthier ways to reduce strain on the jaw and surrounding areas

Support natural alignment so the body moves with less effort and tension

The MyoRelief Method is a step-by-step framework for clinicians working with patients who have temporomandibular joint dysfunction.

Each pillar includes targeted exercises that help restore jaw function, improve alignment, and reduce pain over time.
